(CRP PO / MT – XIII for vacancies of 2024 – 25 )

The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Banks is tentatively scheduled in September-October 2023 / November 2023.

Selection Process :

Any eligible candidate is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP- PO/MT-XIII). The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, Online Preliminary and Online Main. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Online Main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS (Applicable to both – Online Preliminary and Online Main Examination)

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

CUT-OFF SCORE (Online Main Examination)

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview. 

Decision of IBPS in shortlisting and calling number of candidates for common interviews/ provisional allotment shall be final.

MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND ALSO FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING

INTERVIEW :

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination  will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres . The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP- PO/MT-XIII and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

A candidate should qualify both in the Online Main Exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on authorised IBPS website.

Selection Procedure:

  1. The candidates shall be required to appear for online examination to be conducted through recruitment agency. The Successful candidates shall be called for interview in the proportion of I :4 based on their ranking. The allocation of marks for online examination and Interview is 150 & 100 which will be converted into 75:25 (Online Examination: Interview).
    1. The minimum cut off marks for online examination, interview and final selection shall be 50% for UR / EWS and 45% for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD respectively
    1. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination and Interview and accordingly a merit list shall be prepared for selection of candidates
    1. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of combined scores obtained, in case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only. IBPS Latest News – CRP RRBs XII – 2023

IBPS has notified the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Recruitment of Officers (Scale I , II and III ) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)  – CRP RRBs XII on 1st June 2023

Key Information :

  • The CRP RRB XII will be conducted as an Online Exam
  • The Exam will be conducted by IBPS in August – September 2023

Selection Process for Officer Scale I :

  • For the posts of Officers Scale I , the examination will be two tier i.e. the Online Examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main
  • For the post of Officers Scale I, Only candidates who qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination
  • Candidates shortlisted after the Main Examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority tentatively in the month of November 2023
  • FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.

** Candidates have to qualify in both the Preliminary and Main tests by securing minimum cutoff marks. Adequate number of candidates in each category, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS (APPLICABLE TO ALL – PRELIMINARY, MAIN AND SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATIONS)

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

CUTOFF SCORE

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

 Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment. Depending on the number of vacancies available in each state, candidates will be shortlisted for provisional allotment.

For Officers Scale I

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

For Officers Scale II and III

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Single Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies shall be called for interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

Mere passing in individual tests may not be sufficient as candidates should also score sufficiently high on Total score in order of merit to be called for Common Interview / Provisional Allotment. Decision of IBPS in short-listing and calling numbers of candidates for Common Interview / Provisional Allotment shall be Final.
